The POWERplus Lizard is a real eco charger.

Existing solar chargers in the market uses battery packs. After the lifetime of the battery pack (around 2-3 years with daily use), consumer can throw away the charger because they cannot buy a new battery pack, or buying a battery pack is more expensive then buying a new charger. So these products are not as eco as they say.

The POWERplus Lizard combines a solar AA battery charger (to charge AA batteries) with a powerbank to charge your mobile devices like mobile phones, GPS systems, E-readers etc. After the lifetime of the batteries, just bring them at a battery recycling point and buy new AA rechargeable batteries which are very common to get all over the world.

In case of emergency, you might also use disposable batteries if you forget to charge the rechargeable batteries. This product is much more flexible then any other charger/powerbank on the market.
